Queer Leadership Coaching Open House Event Graphic

I would like to personally invite you to a FREE queer leadership coaching open house from 12/18-12/20/23.

What's in Store?

  • A private 30-Minute 1:1 Session: That's right! You get a whole 30 minutes of one-on-one time with me. We’ll chat about everything from ditching those nagging doubts to embracing your uniquely queer leadership style. Think of this as a mini coaching session to help you get a jump start on your leadership growth in the new year.

  • An opportunity to ask your burning questions about coaching and see if we're a good fit to work together.

  • A complementary offering from my treasure trove of amazing (bad) jokes. :D

Who Should Join?

  • Queer Leaders of all sorts! Who the heck is a ‘leader’ anyway? Well, you are!  Leadership coaching is useful for anyone who leads anything: an organization, a team, a project, a movement, a community group. This work is important for executives, first-time managers, community leaders, board members, arts leaders…you get the picture.

  • Curious Minds: Wondering what coaching is all about? Curious about how we'd work with your specific leadership challenges?  Want to know to get your employer to sponsor your work with a coach? This is your perfect sneak-peek. Seriously, ask me WHATEVER!

Queer leaders are uniquely positioned to embody powerful leadership qualities, like authenticity and emotional intelligence (EQ), to lead with creativity, to adapt as things change around us, and to foster radical inclusion.

And yet, many of us have had experiences (in life and work) that have worn on our confidence.

Ever felt:

😿...like an imposter?

😿 ...like you’ve had to choose between your authentic expression and being seen as a leader?

😿 ...skeptical of the whole endeavor of ‘leadership’ because it seems like it was made for straight, white, cisgender men? (tbh, a lot of it was.)

You’re not alone!

We work with queer leaders like you every day, and let us tell you…whatever our specific challenges are, we’re all working on growing our confidence.

Join us for a powerful conversation about queer leadership confidence. We'll explore what the heck confidence really is, unpack the dominant leadership norms that surround us, and explore how we can foster radical leadership confidence by queering our leadership. You'll leave with newfound inspiration, actionable insights, and a stronger sense of self-assurance in your leadership journey. We welcome queer leaders from any level across all sectors, whether you have direct reports or not. If you lead anything, anywhere, you are a leader!

The Disruptors

Show Notes:

Join us for a conversation with Queer leadership coach Liz Cruz on being Queer in leadership. How does inclusive leadership help grow your business? What does it mean being underrepresented as a leader? Is the path to leadership the same for everyone? We'll dive into her extensive experience in unlocking the talents of developing leaders, why she believes most everyone has the skills they need to become a great leader, and how to build your confidence in the workplace.

Enlightenment of Change with Connie Whitman

Show Notes:

So, what were some of the big lessons I learned?

Things like, how to become more empathetic by connecting deeply with my clients, then deeply with my sales teams, deeply with my husband and kids, and now deeply with my clients. As I look back, I personally understand the importance and beauty of being an Emotional Intelligent leader in our world.  We have multiple roles in life and Emotional Intelligent (EI) helps with everything we do and with every person we engage with.

What’s the impact?

Great and deeper connections with everyone in my life both personally and professionally. Those relationships matter and for me are the cornerstone of my business and how I engage with my clients!

Coaching Through It! with Julie Larsen & Laura Pasquini

Show Notes:

On this episode of @CoachingThruIt we are joined by queer leadership coach, Liz Cruz (she/they). Liz works with folks who want to grow their emotional intelligence skills and hone their authentic leadership style, fully integrating identities, values, and experiences. Liz’s coaching approach is informed by her deeply-held belief that each of us is inherently brilliant, and that we’re already holding the solutions we’re looking for. Her process begins with exploring the client’s emotional intelligence strengths, and how to best bring them to bear in the challenges at hand. Liz helps their clients to learn about themselves, to investigate their feelings and beliefs, and to build a practice of taking small but powerful actions to create radical change in their leadership.
